Having heard Mr. Khamkar, learned Counsel for petitioner and Mrs. Mhatre, learned APP for respondents-State, we are of the considered view that this Petition can conveniently be disposed of by directing the Appellate Authority, namely, the Secretary, Home Department (Prison), Government of Maharashtra to dispose of the petitioner's appeal filed on 30.06.2015 challenging the order dated 26.03.2015 passed by the Divisional Commissioner, Pune Division, Pune rejecting petitioner's application for parole, as expeditiously as possible, and preferably within a period of 4 weeks from the receipt of this order. Ordered accordingly. Petition disposed of.
