Admittedly, the Purchase Notice issued under Section 127 of the Maharashtra Regional & Town Planning Act, 1966 is served on Respondent No.5 Corporation on 16 th July, 2018. The period of two years prescribed to act thereon is not over. The above Writ Petition fled by the Petitioner on 3 rd August, 2018 seeking a declaration that the acquisition has lapsed or a direction against Respondent No. 5 Corporation to deposit the 2/3 amount of compensation with the Collector / SLAO, Solapur and proceed further on the Purchase Notice is therefore premature and the Writ Petition is disposed of as such.
