The petitioner claims to be a project affected person. The land of the petitioner was acquired for Tulsi Dam Project. The case of the petitioner is that though part of alternative land has been allotted to him, however, 80 Ares of alternative land to which he is entitled has not been allotted. For allotment of this 80 Ares of alternative land, the petitioner has made a proposal/ application dated 7th May 2015 to respondent No.2- District Resettlement Officer,

skn 2/2 1516.16-wp.sxw Kolhapur. The grievance of the petitioner is that this application is still kept pending and has not been decided. Therefore, the petitioner is before us in the present petition. 2.

Considering the above short controversy, we consider it appropriate to dispose of this petition, by directing respondent No.2 to consider and decide the proposal/ application dated 7th May 2015, made by the petitioner, for allotment of 80 Ares of alternative land. The decision on the proposal/application of the petitioner be taken within a period of eight weeks from today. 3.

The petition is, accordingly disposed of in the above terms. No costs.
