Heard the learned Counsel for the parties.

Learned Counsel for the Applicant, on instructions, seeks leave to withdraw the application. Learned Counsel, however, submits that having regard to the age of the applicant and the period of incarceration, the trial be expedited. 3.

The applicant was 19 years of age at the time of the alleged occurrence. He has been in custody since 20 September 2021. It would, therefore, be expedient to request the Sessions Judge seized with Sessions Case No.166 of 2022 arising out of C.R.No.470 of 2021 registered with Nigdi Police Station, to commence and conclude the trial in the said Sessions Case as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of one year from the date of communication of this order. 4.
