Rule. Rule made returnable forthwith and heard finally by consent of the parties.

We are of the view that purpose of this Petition would stand served if appropriate directions are issued to Respondent No.2. Accordingly, we direct Award Selection Committee constituted in terms of GR dated 14th December, 2022 and headed by Hon'ble Minister for Sports & Youth Services to decide the representation of the Petitioner dated 1st June, 2023 and in accordance with law, having 912-10170-2023.doc S.R.JOSHI

regard to the guidelines stated in the GR dated 14th December, 2022 and the material available before it, including the objections taken by Respondent Nos. 5 & 6, as early as possible and in any case before taking steps for the award distribution ceremony.

Learned AGP is requested to inform the Secretary of Award Selection Committee accordingly with a request to convene meeting of the Committee at the earliest.

Rule is made absolute in the above terms.
