The petitioner is challenging the order dated 16th September 1981 passed by Maharashtra Revenue Tribunal in Tenancy Revision Application No.112 of 1981. The petitioner in paragraph No. 7 has explained the latches in filing the petition. The explanation furnished is to the effect that the petitioner do not receive legal advise regarding challenging the impugned order. It is only after the petitioner contacted another advocate in 2021, he arranged the papers and file the petition. The explanation furnished in paragraph No.7 is not sufficient to condone delay and laches in filing the present petition.

Hence, the writ petition cannot be entertain on the ground of delay.

The writ petition is therefore, dismissed. No costs. (AMIT BORKAR, J.)
