The above Writ Petition was adjourned till today by Order dated 23/10/2018 so as to enable the learned counsel for respondents to take instructions as regards whether the office of the Central Vigilance Commission (CVC) would go into the allegations made by the petitioner on which prayer clause (a) & (b), especially prayer clause (b) are founded.

2 913.22657.18 wpst.doc The learned counsel Mr. Singh who appears for the respondents states that the application filed by the petitioner was not in the format prescribed under the concerned Regulations. The learned counsel Mr. Singh states that the proforma of the complaint can be obtained from the website of the CVC.

Upon this, the learned counsel for the petitioner states that he does not want to harp on technicalities. He states that the petitioner would file such an application in the office of CVC within four weeks from date.

In the eventuality such an application is received from the petitioner, office of the CVC would consider the same in accordance with law having regard to the provisions of the Whistle Blowers Act as also the Central Vigilance Commission Act and intimate the decision to the petitioner. It is therefore not necessary to keep the above Petition pending. The above Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of.
