By this petition, Petitioner seeks a direction to Respondent No. 2 to decide his application (Exhibit "C" to the Petition), filed under Section 85 of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code, 1966. Certain steps were taken pursuant to the said representation. In view of the facts of the case, we direct Respondent No. 2 to take decision on the representation of the Petitioner, on merits & in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks, if not already taken. With this direction, the writ petition stands disposed of.
