This is an application moved by the Applicant/Original Complainant for an expeditious hearing of his Appeal. The lower Court has dismissed the complaint of the Applicant/Original Complainant for the offence punishable under section 138 of the Negotiable Instrument Act,1881. It is alleged that the Appeal is pending since the year 2011 and the Applicant is a physically handicapped person. It needs to be noted that hearing of this Appeal challenges an acquittal. Appeals of convicted prisoners who are undergoing jail sentence which are of the year 2010 are pending before this Court.

In this view of the matter, Application is disposed of with a direction that this Criminal appeal be fixed for hearing as per its turn in the concerned category.
