The Petition is filed seeking the following relief: "(b) Issue appropriate writ, order or direction to the learned Civil Judge, Senior Division, Thane, Link Court Bhiwandi, DistrictThane to decide the Election Petition No. 6/2021 (Neha Ketan Patil Vs. Asmita Rajesh Choudhary & Ors.) filed u/s. 16 of the Maharashtra Municipal Corporation Act, 1949, in time bound manner, as early as possible, in such time limit as this Hon'ble Court deem fit and proper."

Considering the nature of reliefs sought, we do not deem it appropriate to entertain the Petition. The Writ Petition is dismissed 3.

It will be open to the Petitioner to apply before the District V A Tikam 1/2

20-WP 7686 of 2021.doc Court, Thane, for expeditious hearing of the Election Petition. The District Court would take a call on whether the matter should be taken out of turn.
