Mr. Godbole, the learned counsel for the Petitioner, at the outset makes a statement that he has demolished the bungalow known as "Taramati", which is the subject matter of an appeal under section 47 of the M.R.T.P. Act before the State Government, without prejudice to his rights and contentions. The relief claimed in the petition therefore, will not survive. 2.

The writ petition(st) No.23960 of 2014 is accordingly disposed of as rendered infructuous. The State Government shall decide the said appeal in accordance with law.
