No. 342/2021 registered with Shahapur Police Station for offence punishable under Sections 409, 420 r/w 34 of the Indian Penal Code. 2] At the relevant time, applicant was official custodian of entire record of village panchayat. The record in relation to construction and development work carried out during the tenure of applicant went 1/2

5.2531.21 aba.doc missing. It appears that applicant is a signatory to the decision of releasing the amount in favour of contractors and has signed the cheque. However, there is no record available with Gram Panchayat to infer the execution of the work. Inquiry report submitted by Block Development Officer speaks sufficiently about prima facie involvement of the applicant in the offence in question. Ground of personal hardship of applicant on the ground of physical condition of her son can be looked into at appropriate stage. 3] That being so, no case for grant of pre-arrest bail is made out. Application stands rejected.
