The petitioner, by filing this petition, is seeking directions to respondent Nos. 2 and 3 for providing police protection to him. 3.

Learned APP tenders a copy of the report dated 14th January, 2014 of the Deputy Police Commissioner, Zone - 9, Bandra (West), Mumbai. The report shows that the residence of the petitioner is kept under CCTV Surveillance. The police was also directed to do patrolling around the petitioner's residence. The report further shows that when the police visited the petitioner's residence to serve him Shubhada S Kadam 1/2

6 WP 3015.16.doc instruction letter, the same was accepted by the petitioner's brother since the petitioner was out of Mumbai. In the light of the above, we are not inclined to entertain the petition. The petition is, accordingly, dismissed.
