Heard both sides. Perused the writ petition and the annexures thereto, including the impugned order. In writ petition No.7733 of 2018 decided on 31st July 2018, this Court allowed the petition of the petitioner's real brother Gaurav Bansilal Pawar and directed the Scrutiny Committee to grant him a certificate of validity as belonging to "Thakur" Scheduled Tribe.

(917) wp-8768-18.doc It is conceded that the judgment and order in Gaurav's case, copy of which is at page Nos.61 to 69 of the paper book would cover the issue raised in this writ petition and squarely apply to this case. For the reasons set out in the detailed judgment of Gaurav's case, even this writ petition succeeds. Rule is made absolute in terms of prayer clauses (a) and (b). Certificate of validity shall be issued to the petitioner on or before 9th August 2018.
