The petitioners in this writ petition are challenging the order dated 5th August 2017. It appears that earlier request is made to correct the Roznama dated 15th February 2014. The Trial Court rejected the said request.

In my opinion, whenever a party seeks any relief before a Court of Law, a written application is a pre-requisite. Without a written application, Court has no power to grant any relief in favour of any party.

In that view of the matter, it shall be open for the petitioners to file appropriate application before the Trial Court, if permissible in law.

If such application is filed, the Trial Court shall decide such application in accordance with law.

With this clarification, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
