The Applicant was granted interim relief by an order dated 30th August 2016. The facts giving rise to the present crime have been elaborately mentioned in the said order. The Applicant was directed to attend the Investigating Officer on stipulated dates and the present matter was kept for hearing today. The Investigating Officer has submitted the detailed report dated 8th September 2016. It is specifically mentioned in the said report that the Applicant did Sharayu.

The Applicant was giving evasive replies to all the questions and did not disclose any information pertaining to the fact of procurement of the bogus caste certificates. In the circumstances and after perusing the papers of investigation, this Court was not inclined to grant any relief to the Applicant.

Facing with this difficulty, the learned Counsel for the Applicant on instructions sought leave to withdraw the present Application with liberty to surrender before the Investigating Officer on or before 11 a.m. on 14th September 2016.

Leave and liberty granted.
