Present Petition is received through jail.

It is the grievance of the Petitioner that, the Competent Authority did not entertain his application for releasing him on parole on the ground that the application was filed before the authority which has no jurisdiction. 3.

Learned A.P.P., on instructions, submitted that, the Petitioner was released on Covid-19 parole for a specific period, however he did not return to jail authority after expiry of the said parole leave. He further submitted that, a crime under Section 224 of The Indian Penal Code has already been registered with the concerned Police Station.

In view of the above, present Petition as of today does not survive and is accordingly disposed off.
