The Petitioners have sought a direction to Respondent Zilla Parishad to give benefits under Modified Assured Career Progress Scheme as per the Government Resolution dated 1 April 2010 with effect from the date of appointment of the Petitioners as Junior Engineers.

The learned counsel for the Petitioners states that in view of circular dated 11 October 2023 issued by the State of Maharashtra to all Zilla Parishads, a direction is given which redresses the cause of the Petitioners. The learned counsel for the Zilla Parishad, on instructions of Mr. R. V. Gavali, Assistant Water Conservation Officer, Zilla Parishad (MI) Division, Nashik Zilla Parishad, states that the said Zilla Parishad will implement the directions in the said circular as regards the Petitioners.
