The petition is filed seeking a direction to the Senior Inspector of Police, Antop Hill Police Station, Mumbai to register an FIR in pursuance of the petitioner's complaint dated 03/08/2018, a copy of which is annexed at Ex-A to the petition. 3.

Learned A.P.P. makes a statement that subsequent to the AJN

2/2 31 WP-3492.18.doc receipt of the complaint referred to above, the Antop Hill Police have sent two letters to the petitioner on 12/08/2019 and on 17/08/2018 requesting her to visit the police station. However, the petitioner has not responded to the said letters. Subsequently, on 11/12/2018, an officer from the concerned police station has visited the house of the petitioner. However, it was revealed that the petitioner was not staying in the address mentioned in the said complaint.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner's grievance is about dispossession from the house where she was staying. She makes a statement that the petitioner will visit the In-charge Officer of Antop Hill Police Station within one week from today. The statement is accepted. In the event the petitioner approaches the Antop Hill Police Station, her statement would be recorded and appropriate action shall be taken by the said police station in accordance with law. Subject to above, the petition is disposed of.
