By this petition, the Petitioner is alleging contempt of an order dated 2nd December 2013 passed by the coordinate bench of this Court in Writ Petition No.1785 of 2013. This petition was filed on 25th August 2022. The Petition is clearly barred by limitation, considering the provisions of Section 20 of the Contempt of the Courts Act, 1971, which provides that "no Court shall initiate any proceedings of contempt, either on its own motion or otherwise, after the expiry of a period of one year from the date on which the contempt is alleged to have been committed".
