Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned AGP for the respondent No.1-State.

The petition is filed seeking the relief in terms of prayer clause (a) of the petition, which reads as under :- "(a) The respondent No.2 Scrutiny Committee be directed to issue caste validity certificate as belonging to Thakar Scheduled Tribe to the petitioner Nos.1 to 4 in view of the old and pre-constitutional documentary evidences and also validity certificate issued to the father and uncle and in view of the law laid down by this Hon'ble Court in case of Apurva Nichale Vs. State of Maharashtra Mh.L. J. 2006 Page No. 401.

IN ALTERNATIVE The respondent No.2 Scrutiny Committee be directed to decide the petitioners tribe claim within the stipulated period."

Ms.Thakur, the learned AGP, on instructions, makes a statement that the claims validating the caste of the belonging to 'Thakar' Scheduled Tribe have been decided by the Caste Scrutiny Committee and the copies of the said caste validity certificates are handed over to the petitioners today in the Court. The learned counsel for the petitioners acknowledges receipt of the caste validity certificates to the petitioners. 4.

In the light of above, the grievance raised in the instant petition, no more survives.

The petition accordingly stands disposed of.
