Petitioners' grievance is that the application filed under Sections 83 and 88 of the Maharashtra Co-operative Societies Act, 1960, against respondent no. 3 is kept pending by the Director Sugar/respondent no. 2 since last more than 1 1⁄2 year.

AGP, on instructions, submits that if such application is pending, same will be decided within four weeks from today. We do not express any opinion on the merits of the grievance made by the petitioners.
