The above Interim Application is filed to add Union of India as well as the Assistant Commissioner, Central Excise, Division Ratnagiri, Dist-Ratnagiri, Maharashtra as party Respondents to the above Writ Petition as per the schedule annexed at Exhibit-D to the Interim Application.

Having heard Mr. Madon, the learned Counsel appearing for the Applicant and for the reasons stated in the above Interim Application, the same is allowed in terms of prayer clauses (a) and (b) which read thus:

10 wp 9540-23.doc "a.that the Hon'ble Court be pleased to grant leave to add (1) Union of India and (2) Assistant Commissioner, Central Excise-Division Ratnagiri, District Ratnagiri, Maharashtra as a party to the present Writ Petition as per the Schedule annexed at Exhibit- 'D' hereto and make consequential amendments;

b. that the Hon'ble Court be pleased to allow the present Interim Application and allow the applicants to carry out the amendments as per Schedule annexed at Exhibit- 'D' hereto;"

The amendments shall be carried out within a period of two weeks from today and the amended copy of the Petition shall be served on all the Respondents including the newly added Respondents within a period of two weeks thereafter.

The above Interim Application is accordingly disposed of. No order as to costs.
