The learned Senior Counsel appearing for the second respondent invited our attention to the affidavit dated 4th October, 2018 of Shri. Rajan Patil, the Joint City Engineer of the Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation. During the period from 1st June 2018 to 30th September, 2018, 221 structures having total area of 123319 sq.ft. have been demolished. 893 notices have been issued and 84 cases have been filed. Thus, reasonable steps have been taken by the Municipal Corporation.

The data of action taken between 1st October, 2018 to 31st January, 2019 shall be placed on record along with an affidavit on of before the next date.
