Heard learned Counsel for the parties.

This application is preferred by claimants for fixing early date of hearing of First Appeal No. 787 of 1998 on the ground that some of the applicants are senior citizens.

Office note shows that R & P received and matter is ready for final hearing.

The learned counsel for the applicant submits that there are other connected First Appeals filed by the claimants as well as State. Those are as under: First Appeal Nos. 787/1998, 772/1996, 496/2007, 1605/2009, 1196/2006 and 1761/2007.

Hence, the following order:

a) Hearing of First Appeal No. 787 of 1998 is expedited.

b) Office is directed to place all the First Appeals as stated herein above i.e. First Appeal Nos. 787/1998, 772/1996, 496/2007, 1605/2009, 1196/2006 and 1761/2007 for final hearing along with present First Appeal.

c) Civil application stands disposed off accordingly.
