Applicants are husband and wife. They have applied for anticipatory bail in connection with C.R. No.331 of 2022 registered with Satara Taluka Police Station for the offences punishable under section 306 read with 34 of the Indian Penal Code as they are apprehending their arrest.

A perusal of First Information Report, prima facie, does not indicate that the applicants intentionally abetted suicide by the deceased who alleged to have consumed liquor and some poisonous substance, resulting into his death.

Learned A.P.P is fair enough to submit that custodial interrogation of the applicants is not required. However, she submits that the applicants be directed to attend the concerned Police Station. 5.

Considering the aforesaid facts, following order is expedient. [a] In the event of their arrest in connection with C.R.No.331 of 2022 registered with Satara Taluka Police Station for the offences punishable under section 306 r/w 34 of the I.P.C, the applicants be released on furnishing a P.R bond in the sum of Rs.20,000/- each, with one surety in the like amount;

[b] The applicants shall attend the concerned Police Station on 12th and 16th September, 2022 between 10.00 a.m and 1.00 p.m.

[c] Concerned Judge shall grant permission to applicant No.2 to attend the concerned Police Station on the aforesaid dates.
