The applicant came to be arrested in Crime No. 225 of 2022 registered at Pimpri Police Station, Pune for the offences punishable under Sections 307, 504 r/w 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 4(27) of the Arms Act.

According to the prosecution, on 11 April 2022, the present applicant and other co-accused assaulted the MJ Jadhav 1 / 2

10-BA-2344-23.odt complainant/injured by koyta, etc. and attempted to kill him due to previous dispute with co-accused Santosh Kalaskar. 4.

The applicant is in jail for about one and half years. The trial has not yet commenced. There are no other criminal antecedents. 5.

Considering the overall facts and circumstances of the case, I am inclined to release the applicant on bail. Hence, the following order is passed:

(i) Application is allowed.

(ii) The applicant shall be released on bail in Crime No. 225 of 2022 registered at Pimpri Police Station, Pune for the offences punishable under Sections 307, 504 r/w 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 4(27) of the Arms Act on furnishing PR bond in the sum of Rs. 25,000/- with one or two sureties in the like amount.
