Petitioner has alleged contempt of the order dated 8th January 2018 passed by this Court directing the Deputy Collector, (Resettlement) Pune, to decide the application of the Petitioner for allotment of land.

Learned counsel for the Petitioner states that the said order has not been complied with till date. Statement is accepted. 3.
Respondent No. 2 is accordingly directed to comply with the order dated 8th January 2018, passed in Writ Petition No. 2675 of 1 /3
2016 within four weeks from the date of the Petitioner submitting requisite documents with Respondent. Learned counsel for the Petitioner agrees to submit the documents within one week from today. Statement is accepted.

Order that would be passed by Respondent No. 2 shall be communicated to the Petitioner within one week from the date of passing such order. It is made clear that no further extension of time would be granted.

In view of this order, we are not issuing any contempt notice against Respondent No. 2 at this stage. Contempt Petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.

It is made clear that if the orders passed by this Court today and on 8th January 2018 are not complied with, this Court will initiate action under the provisions of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971, against Respondent No. 2 on the next date. 2 /3
