This is an application seeking transfer of P.A No.347 of 2022 filed by the respondent from Family Court, Nashik to Family Court, Pune where the applicant-wife has filed petition under sections 12, 17, 18, 19, 20, 22 and 23 of the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005.

Having heard learned Counsel for the parties for some time, it seems that there can be amicable settlement of the dispute, in the sense, the parties might go for divorce by mutual consent. SHAILAJA SHRIKANT SHRIKANT HALKUDE Date 2023 04 17 13 19 26

Learned Counsel for the respondent is fair enough to concede the prayer of the applicant-wife.

As such, the application is allowed in terms of prayer clause (A), which reads thus;

"[A] That this Hon'ble Court be pleased to transfer the petition bearing No. P.A. No.347 of 2022 pending in the Family Court, Nashik to Family Court, Pune, Maharashtra".

Principal Judge of Family Court, Pune is appointed as a Mediator who shall explore possibility of an amicable settlement of the disputes by conducting process of mediation. 6.

The parties shall co-operate in the mediation process. 7.

A report of mediation shall be sent to this Court in the second week of June, 2023.
