By the above Writ Petition, the Petitioner has interalia prayed for the following relief :

"(a) This Hon'ble Court be pleased to issue Writ of Mandamus and or any other Writ, Order or Direction in the nature of Mandamus thereby directing the Respondent No.2 Collector to decide the Dispute Application dated 7th July, 2021 filed by the Petitioner under Section 14(1)(j3) of the Maharashtra Village Panchayat Act, 1959 seeking disqualification of Respondent No.3 in accordance with law, forthwith;" 2.

The Respondent No.2 - Collector, Thane shall after hearing all the concerned parties, decide the Dispute Application dated 7th July, 2021 filed by the SSP 1/2

12 wp 7697 of 2021.doc Petitioner under Section 14(1)(j3) of the Maharashtra Village Panchayat Act, 1959, strictly on merits. The entire exercise shall be completed within a period of 12 weeks from today. All contentions of the parties are kept open. The Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of.
