In the above writ petition, the Petitioner seeks to quash and set aside the Order dated 17.08.2021 under which the Petitioner's application for issuance of passport was rejected. 2.

The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the Petitioner has fairly stated that the Petitioner has an alternate OCTOBER 27, 2023 Sneha Chavan

1 wp 10481-23.doc remedy of challenging the said order by way of an appeal under the provisions of the Passport Act, 1967. She, therefore, sought a leave to withdraw the above writ petition with liberty to avail of the alternate remedy.

In these circumstances, the above writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty as prayed. No order as to costs. 4.
