23.IA.18960.2022.doc P. C. :

1.

In these petitions the parties are common. By orders dated 28th July, 2021, the parties were referred to Arbitration and Hon'ble Dr. Smt. Justice Shalini Phansalkar-Joshi, former Judge of this Court, was appointed as the learned Arbitrator in the matter. 2.

It appears that the arbitration proceedings commenced in terms of the orders passed by this Court in these three petitions, but since the record is voluminous, the proceedings could not be completed in time.

3.

This has prompted the parties to approach this Court under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, seeking extension of time by six months for completion of the arbitration proceedings.

4.

This Court has perused the reasons stated in the applications, in all the three petitions. The reasons stated do make out a case for showing sufficient reasons for extension of time. Accordingly, the applications are allowed and extension of time is granted for a period of six months from today for completion of Arbitration proceedings.

5.

Applications stand disposed of.
