By filing this Petition the Petitioner is claiming an alternate land from the benefited zone of Chaskaman Dam Project. On 28th April, 2016 this Court had issued directions to the Respondents to indicate whether it is possible to reconsider the case of the Petitioner. Today it has been informed by the learned Counsel for the Petitioner that the Petitioner has submitted proposal for reconsideration of her claim made in this Petition.

Learned Counsel for the State submits that the

WP.8234/2013(20) Petitioner's claim will be reconsidered and appropriate fresh decision will be taken uninfluenced by the earlier order. 4.

In view of the aforesaid statement made by the learned Counsel for the parties we dispose off this Petition by directing the Competent Authority of the Respondent Nos. 2 and 3 to reconsider and take a fresh decision in regard to the Petitioner's application after giving her due opportunity of hearing.

The Petitioner to appear before the Competent Authority on 27th June, 2016. The Authority shall thereafter give opportunity of hearing to the Petitioner and shall pass a fresh order uninfluenced by the earlier order within 2 months from the date of appearance of the Petitioner before the Competent Authority.

The Petition is disposed of accordingly.
