Perused the report of the Chief Judicial Magistrate. It is clear from the report that the order issuing summons was not signed by the learned Metropolitan Magistrate. Therefore, the summons that were actually issued deserved to be cancelled. The summons issued to the petitioners stood cancelled. The respondent/complainant is at liberty to press for fresh order of issuance of summons after following the necessary steps within two weeks from today. The petition is disposed of. All concerned to act upon the authenticated copy of this order.
