Learned counsel appearing for respondent Nos.5 and 6 submits that consequent to the inquiry conducted against the petitioner who was discharging his duties as professor at the relevant time, the petitioner has been dismissed from service. He further submits that alternate remedy is available.

The statute provides for alternate remedies for redressal of grievance of the petitioner. The petitioner may resort to the same in accordance with law.

All issues on merits are kept open.

The petition is accordingly disposed of.
