The learned counsel for the applicant after arguing at length, seeks liberty to withdraw the application.

The learned APP, on instructions, has submitted that a case of custodial death was also made out and therefore one police officer has been suspended. Thereafter, the investigation was transferred to the Crime Branch. It is also submitted, that in the present case, charge is framed and the matter is posted for recording of evidence on 24.3.2017. In view of this, the learned counsel for the applicant seeks expeditious trial. The prayer is granted.

The learned Sessions Judge seized with Sessions Case No.195 of 2016 pending before the Addl. Sessions Judge, Thane, is requested to

The learned Sessions Judge shall also ensure that the accused is brought before the Court on each and every stipulated date at 11 a.m. Upon failure, the learned Sessions Judge may take appropriate action.
