1) The learned APP, on instructions, submitted that in pursuance of an order dated 2nd September, 2016 the applicants have attended the Investigating Officer on the stipulated dates and have joined the process of investigation. She submitted that the alleged cheque book involved in the present crime has been seized by the police during the course of investigation. She further on instructions submitted that the custodial interrogation of the applicants is not necessary. 2) In view of the above, the interim relief granted by an order dated 2nd September, 2016 is hereby confirmed. However, the applicants are hereby directed to attend the Investigating Officer as and when called for between 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. till filing of the

2 /2 24-aba-1545-16.doc charge-sheet. It is needless to mention that before calling the applicants to the police station, the investigating officer or any other responsible police officer shall issue notice to the applicants under section 160 of Cr.P.C.
