This petition is filed with a stand alone prayer to expedite the proceedings of Original Application No. 1005 of 2018 pending before the Maharashtra Administrative Tribunal (the Tribunal) filed by the Petitioner.

We are not inclined to issue such a writ of mandamus as there could be more urgent cases before the Tribunal. Such an ad-hoc direction without reference to any pendency could be unfair to those litigants who are patiently waiting for their applications to reach and who may have more urgent causes.

Leaving it open to the Petitioner to make necessary application to the Tribunal for early disposal of Original Application No. 1005 of 2018, we dispose of the Writ Petition. We have no doubt that if the Petitioner makes out urgency and reason for out of turn hearing, the Tribunal will consider it favorably.
