Today when the matter came up for hearing, the only prayer made by the learned counsel for the Petitioner to dispose of this Petition by directing to the Competent Authority of the Respondents to examine and take appropriate decision on the Petitioner's Application dated 4th April, 2014 (Exhibit "B") for granting prior approval under Section 36(a) of Maharashtra Land Revenue Code in respect of the subject property of the Petition. 2.

Having regard to the aforesaid limited prayer, without commenting upon the merits of the matter and the Petitioners' entitlement, we dispose of this Petition by directing the Competent Authority of the Respondents to examine the Petitioners' claim and Vishal Parekar 1/2

953-wp-14120-2017.doc take appropriate decision on the said Application (Exhibit B) in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible but in any case not later than four months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
