This is an Application for condonation of delay of 1 year and 173 days in filing the Appeal against conviction. 2.

It is stated in the Application that, Applicant is in jail since the date of his arrest and after pronouncement of impugned Judgment and Order he could not immediately appoint an Advocate to file Appeal against conviction. He therefore wrote a letter to the Registry of this Court to appoint an Advocate to represent him. The High Court Legal Services Committee, Mumbai thereafter appointed the present Advocate Mr. Bhujbal, who has filed the Appeal and present Application for condonation of delay. 1/2
