This Court (Coram : Revati Mohite Dere, J.) on 30th August, 2019 granted ad-interim protection to the applicants, who are seeking pre-arrest bail in Crime No. 412 of 2019 registered with Kolsewadi Police Station, Kalyan, District Thane, for the offence punishable under Sections 326, 452, 504, 506 read with 34 of the Indian Penal Code and under Sections 37(1) and 135 of Maharashtra Police Act. 2.

The allegation against the applicants is that of assault by plastic pipe and wooden log.

The applicants were on ad-interim protection for about last two years. In that view of the matter, ad-interim protection stands confirmed. Hence, the following order :

O R D E R

i) In the event of arrest in Crime No. 412 of 2019 registered with Kolsewadi Police Station, Kalyan, District Thane, for the offence punishable under Sections 326, 452, 504, 506 read with 34 of the Indian Penal Code and under Sections 37(1) and 135 of Maharashtra Police Act, the applicants be released on bail on their executing P.R. bonds of Rs.25,000/-/- each with one or more sureties in the like amount;

ii) The applicants are directed to attend the concerned Police Station as and when directed;

iii) The applicants shall not influence the prosecution witnesses or tamper with the evidence.

The application is disposed of accordingly.
