DATE: SEPTEMBER 29, 2022 P.C.:- 1] Applicant is seeking regular bail in C.R. No. 192 of 2022 registered with Satana Police Station, Tal. Baglan, District Nashik for the offences punishable under Sections 294 of the Indian Penal Code read with Sections 7, 8, & 12 of POCSO Act, 2012. 2] The prosecution story is, Applicant has called the victim boy of 8 years to his shop and after sexually assaulting him demanded unnatural sexual intercourse.

3] Considering the punishment prescribed under Sections 8 and 12 of the POCSO Act and the fact that Applicant is already chargesheeted, he is entitled to be released on bail. 1/2

53 BA-2477-22.doc 4] Applicant is directed to be released on bail in C.R. No. 192 of 2022 registered with Satana Police Station, Tal. Baglan, District Nashik for the offences punishable under Section 294 of the Indian Penal Code read with Sections 7, 8, & 12 of POCSO Act, 2012 on execution of P.R. Bond of Rs 15,000/- with one or more sureties in the like amount. Applicant shall neither influence the witnesses nor tamper with the evidence. Applicant shall attend the trial regularly. Applicant shall remain outside the jurisdiction of the concerned Police Station. 5] Application is accordingly disposed of.
