This is an application for bringing the legal heirs of the appellant on record.

The appellant was convicted under Section 7 and 13(i)(d) r/w.13(2) of Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 by the Special Judge (ACB), Gr.Bombay. That, during the pendency of the present appeal preferred by the appellant, he expired on 07.07.2017. The applicants are the legal heirs of the original appellant and are intending to pursue the said appeal with a view to wipe out the stigma/blot on the character of the appellant. In view of the above and for the reasons stated in the application, the application is allowed in terms of prayer clause (a). 4.

Applicants are directed to carry out necessary amendments within a period of four weeks from today.
