The learned counsel for the Petitioner seeks liberty to delete Respondent Nos.3 and 4. Leave to amend is granted. Amendment shall be carried out forthwith. Re-verification is dispensed with.

Rule is made returnable forthwith.

The learned AGP waives service for the State. By consent of the parties, the matter is taken up for final hearing.

By this petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India the Petitioner seeks an order and direction against Basavraj G. Patil 1/2

20.2763.20-wp.odt Respondent No.2 to consider the proposal made on 24.06.2029 annexed at Exhibit-H to the petition which is still pending since the date of filing.

We accordingly, direct Respondent No.2 to consider and dispose of the said proposal dated 24.06.2019 within six weeks from today, without fail, and shall communicate the order to the Petitioner within a week thereafter. If any adverse order is passed against the Petitioner, no coercive steps shall be taken against the Petitioner for a period of three weeks from the date of order. If the proposal is accepted by Respondent No.2, all consequential benefits shall be granted to the Petitioner within four weeks from the date of communication of the order.

It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any view on merits of the matter.

Rule is made absolute in the aforesaid terms. Writ Petition stands disposed of accordingly. No order as to costs.
