The grievance of the petitioner is that the petitioner's application for regularization of the encroachment on the land admeasuring 80 gunthas out of land 2.63 hectares on the land survey No.219 situated at village Mothi Desai, Taluka Thane is pending before the respondent no.2 Collector, Thane since 2015 and till date the same has not been decided. 2.

Without commenting upon the merits of the matter, we dispose of this petition by directing respondent no.2 Collector to consider and decide the petitioner's request for regularization of the encroachment on the land in question as expeditiously as possible preferably within four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 3.
