Heard the learned Counsel for the applicant and the learned APP.

This is an application under section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973. The applicant herein is apprehending his arrest in C.R. Nos. 512 of 2017 registered with Mohol Police Station, for offence punishable under section 420 of the Indian Penal Code. 1/3

It is the case of the prosecution that the applicant was working as head master at Nagnath Vidyalaya. On 23/7/2017 one Manish Kevale lodged a report at the police station that the applicant in the capacity of head master had assured her that he would give her employment in Nagnath Vidyalaya where he was working as Head Master and on account of the same, had demanded and accepted Rs. 15 Lakhs from the complainant during the period 14/6/2010 to 16/6/2017. Subsequently, he had informed her that it would not be possible to give her an employment in the said school. Hence, she would constrained to lodge a report.

The applicant was granted protection by an order dated 24/8/2017. Thereafter, by an order dated 16/11/2017, the applicant was directed to deposit an amount of Rs. 10 Lakhs in the Registry of this Court in four equal installments.

The office note shows that the applicant has complied with the order dated 16/11/2017. In view of this, the interim relief granted 2/3

vide order dated 24/8/2017 is confirmed on the same terms and conditions.

The application is disposed of accordingly.
