On the said date, the matter was called out in the morning session as well as afternoon session, but none appeared for the petitioner. We had adjourned the mater to 5th January, 2023 with a specific observation that if on the adjourned date none appears for the petitioner, the matter would be dismissed.

The matter, in fact, would be within the realm of the Maharashtra Administrative Tribunal.

In light of that, as none appears for the petitioner today, we dispose of the writ petition. The petitioner may avail the alternate remedy available to him.
