The learned counsel appearing for the Respondent, on instructions of Mr. Shashirao Walkikar, Chief Administrative Officer who is present in the Court, submits that the Respondents have decided to take a sympathetic view of the entire matter and would like to appoint the Petitioner on a vacant post within one month. He, however, submits that since this decision has been taken on humanitarian grounds, it may not be treated as a precedent in other similar matters. This submission is accepted. Copy of the 1 / 2

In view of the statement made on behalf of the Respondents, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the Petitioner does not press this petition.
