Mr. Lokesh seeks leave to withdraw the petition since petitioner has settled the matter under the Direct Tax Vivad Se Vishwas Act 2020 and Form 5 has been issued on 20th October 2021. If that was the case, petitioner was duty bound to inform the Court promptly and withdraw this petition.
Therefore, in our view, this is a fit case to impose cost on petitioner. Petitioner shall pay a sum of Rs.10,000/- as donation to PM Cares Fund.
