Heard the learned counsel for the Petitioner and the learned APP for the Respondent-State. The petition is filed through jail seeking direction to arrest the persons named by the Petitioner in the petition. When the petition was filed the Petitioner was in jail and, therefore, his letter was taken cognizance of. At later stage, the Petitioner was released from jail and thereafter he filed independent writ petition in this Court, being Writ Petition No. 1162 of 2017, for the reliefs similar to the reliefs sought in the present petition. The said writ petition was placed for admission before the Court on 17th September 2018. On that day, the learned counsel for the Petitioner having taken instructions from the Petitioner sought leave to withdraw the said patilsr 1 / 2

writ petition with liberty to approach the appropriate authority by initiating appropriate proceedings. The Court granted leave with liberty as prayed for by the Petitioner and accordingly said writ petition was disposed of.

In the light of said order passed in Writ Petition No. 1162 of 2017, the present writ petition has become infructuous and the same is accordingly disposed of.
